8 Dec 2008 It's that time again. We are beginning work on FRDS Linux 3.0. This new release should be everything end users, system administrators, and software developers have come to expect from the Linux environment. The release of this new version is slated for early 2009. Keep an eye on this News section for more detailed information, as well as an exact release date. We would like to ship 3.0 with Linux kernel 2.26.28, so we are awaiting the release of the new kernel to decide on an exact release date.
19 Nov 2008 Site update: The links on this page, which were pointing to an expired domain, have now been updated. All FRDS Linux information is now hosted on the main Front Range Data Services web site. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused in downloading and updating FRDS Linux.
31 Jan 2008 FRDS Linux 2.0 is available for download! You can order a DVD of this next-generation generic Linux distribution, or you can download it (including DVD images) from the FTP site (slow bandwidth).
8 Nov 2007 It's time for FRDS Linux 2.0! It will be available to the public by January 2008. Please note that, as of now, FRDS Linux 1.0 is no longer available for download. Wait for 2.0. It will be worth it. Many new features and enhancements will be included.
1 Feb 2007 After nearly two years of planning, script writing, and infrastructure implementation, FRDS Linux 1.0 is now available to the public! To all who helped get us to this milestone, a big thank you is in order.
